Speed/interval training - w/c 27 April
This weeks speed/interval training has been provided by Coach Bren.
Warm up followed by:
Descending pyramids run between 5k & 10k pace. Complete TWO sets as set out below ALL with 2 minutes easy jogging recovery between.
- 4 minutes, 3 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 minute
- Total = 20 minutes.
After the two sets have a 5 minute break then do the following concentrating on running tall and staying relaxed:
- 8 x 30 seconds at 800m pace with 90s walk/very slow jog recovery.
After the session jog an easy mile followed by your usual stretches.
