Cheltenham Half Marathon - 25/09/2016
There were 28 CLC striders who competed at Cheltenham Half marathon at the weekend. Conditions were cool if a little windy but many PBs were set in spite of this. First home for the club was William Pearce who ran a big PB in a time of 1:22:49 in a brilliant 30th place. Newcomer Allan Newton was the second strider across the line in a quick 1:25:13. Allan was closely followed by Liza Barry who ran extremely well to finish 4th lady in 1:26:42.
Ever consistent JJ Willson ran a well judged race to finish first M55 in a time of 1:29:06. Katie Truslove closely followed Willson, finishing 11th female in 1:30:38.
Other notable performances were made by Amelia Mullins who set a PB in 1:36:12 and Richard Haslam a big PB in 1:37:14. Nicola Weager also ran a big PB in her first race for the club finishing in 1:46:55.
