Holly Wharton was star of the show, gritting her teeth in both the 100m and 200m taking silver and bronze medals respectively in times of 14.07seconds and 31 seconds dead. To top it off and only moments after the 200m race Holly participated in the Javelin, claiming bronze medal throwing 21.36.
Joel Freeland also put on his speedy shoes and ran in both the 800m and 400m. In the 800m Freeland ran a swift first lap in just 63 seconds however was unable to maintain the pace crossing the line in 2.13.1. In the 400m, Joel ran 57.07seconds
Chris Driskell and Hillary Agate ran in the 1500m. Conditions were windy making the 3 and ¾ laps a challenge. Driskell set a quick early pace completing the race in 4:41.3, claiming a silver medal for his efforts. Agate also ran a quick first lap and ran well to finish in 5:18:8 claiming the county gold.
