Meanwhile, James Oram led the Striders mens charge recording a time of 17.13. Oram took silver in the County championships M40 age group. Iain Porter followed in 17.18 with Mark Langman close behind in an excellent 17.30. Jon Cooke was next in a brisk 17.41 with new signing Keith Fairburn impressing in 18.39. Club stalwart, Phil Jowett was next in a solid 18.55 while Jo Wilkie ran sub 19 minutes for the first time coming home in 18.56. JJ Willson continued his return to form finishing in 19.55 taking the County silver in the M50 age group. Ladies captain Rachel Vines had a good run dipping under 20 mins coming home in 19.58, while George Parker set a club U-20 record of 21.03. The ever improving Steph Parker was next running 21.04 taking County L35 silver medal, while Dan Harte put in a solid 21.46. Dave Mayo continued his comeback with a 21.49.
