CLC Striders hosted the 2nd Running of The Runway 10k Road Race from Staverton Airport Sunday 18th November.
The race was won by former strider member John Parker in a time of 32.30. The host club had a field day with Laura Kent taking the ladies title in 40.08. Kent was followed by Lucy McNulty who ran well to out sprint fellow strider Amanda Steer for 2nd place in 42.21, Steer was only a second behind and took 3rd place in 42.22.
The Striders men were led home by Andrew Jones who had a fantastic run to finish 10th overall in 38.07. The Race had 172 fiishers which was a sign that the race is becoming more populer year by year!
