Harpreet Chawla and Duncan Kay both had successful runs in the London 10000.

In her first race over this distance, Harpreet had an excellent run to finish in 5811th place with a time of 61:15.

Meanwhile, Duncan Kay had another great run to smash the one hour mark and set a big new PB.

In a field of over 10000, Duncan finished in 4654th place and was delighted with his time of 58:15.

This high quality race was won by double European gold medallist Mo Farah, in a time of 29:15. Although not quite at his best, the 28-year-old was content to secure a third consecutive victory after arriving from his US training base only 24 hours earlier.

In the women’s race, Jo Pavey was first in 32:22 whilst Paula Radcliffe trailed in 3rd with 33:17.
