ReportFour striders represented Gloucestershire at the prestigious inter counties and world cross trials at cofton park Birmingham on Saturday 5th march 2011.
Laura Kent finished in an excellent 151st place in the senior women’s race, next to follow Kent was Liza Barry who is on the comeback trail, Barry finished in a respectable 210th place, she was closely followed in by Rachel DJ Vines who equitted herself well to finish in 216th place.
Will Ferguson ran very well in the senior men’s race finishing in 125th place which is an improvement of 16 places from last year. Ferguson worked his way through the field of 300 plus runners and remained strong throughout the race.
